He has been a soldier for almost two years. He just got back from serving a year in South Korea. My husband is my hero. He gets up every day and protects this country and he never complains. My son Private Ben Victoriano is my hero.  Serving in IRAQ with the United States Army. More than America's hero...he's my hero. This is my husband, Spc. Jeffrey Strayer. This is picture was taken during his deployment to FOB Warrior in Kirkuk, Iraq. This photo reminds me of his wonderful fun spirit. He tries to make people laugh in every situation and always manages to lower the stress level. My husband is my hero and my best friend. I wake up everyday just to hear his voice on the other end of the line. He has been deployed with his unit from Schofield Barracks, HI since early August 2006 and should return by November 2007. My favorite memory that keeps me company during these lonely days and nights is when he first told me he loved me. He told me while we were on the phone when he thought I had said it first, what I actually said was "I will too". He broke the ice by laughing and admitting he was embarrassed. That is my favorite thing to think about and I still cry when I hear him say those three precious words. I am so thankful for out life the army has provided and cannot wait to share our lives together again. Creating our army scrapbook will keep these memories very close to my heart in moments of sadness and loneliness.

I would have to say that my hero is my husband, SPC Jeffrey Massey. He is currenlty serving in Iraq.  ?He is a wonderful husband, son,$brother, and so many other things. The list could go on forever. I've never heard him complain even onse about having$to fight for his country i~ a foreign lind. He has vhe to be the strongest person I know. SO much of what our soldiers are doing ver there goes unnoticed. I just want to say that I pray everyday that evgry soldier gets to come home. And I also say a prayer for all those families who have lost loved ones. Thank you Jeffrey. We love and miss you very much. Come HOME SOON

This is my husband SFC Sean Connor stationed in Springfield MA but currently in the middle of a 12 month tour in Iraq.  He is a wonderful husband and a loving father to his three children Justis 11, Michael 10, &  Ashley 8.  He has served his country for over 14 years in the MA Army National Guard, for the last 7 years he has been active duty, and he also served  12  months in Bosnia in 1997.   We had less than a week to prepare for his deployment and I believe that through his actions he has shown our children that you can handle anything that life throws at you. I believe in what he stands for and I thank him everyday for the sacrifices he makes on a daily basis for our family and for all of you.  He is my rock, I am very proud to call myself an Army wife.    This is the quote that is sent with every e-mail that I send and I believe it whole heartedly.  I want to express my thanks to all of our military personel and their families, stay strong and God Bless you. Look beside each soldier & you will find the people who fight with him.....The spouses, the sons, the daughters, the families....we serve too... Their victories are our victories... Their defeats are our defeats.... I am proud of the role we play in maintaining peace in our country & in our world....I am proud to stand beside a man whose integrity shines like a Diamond in the dust... I am proud to call myself an Army Wife...

This is my husband Sgt. Adam Rennhack of the United States Marine Corps stationed at Camp Lejeune NC. He is currently deployed to Iraq with some of the greatest fighting men I've ever seen. He has been with the Corps for 8 years stong and plans to stay in for atleast 20 years. Adam is about to be a first time daddy before he arrives back in the states later this year. He will be the proud daddy for a little girl Bailey Ruth. We all miss him dearly and can't wait for his arrival back to us here at home. His family and I are some of the proudest people you will ever meet becuase he is what some call a "true Marine". I love you Adam for all you do for us here at home and for us in a far away country. What can I say about my Hero? My son PFC Wyatt "Scott" Hays would have to take the award there.  He is currently serving in an area in the "Sandbox" known as CSC Scania.  He is with the 3rd/73rd Cav serving under the 82nd Airborne, Fort Bragg, NC.  He is working at a refueling station, and not enjoying the heat at all.   I never thought that my son would follow in the footsteps of his ancestors, by joining the military.  His great-grandparents fought against each other in WWII.  My mother's parents were both in the German Military, and my father's father was in the US AirForce. My father was also in the AirForce, and I just retired from the United States Army in August 2006.  My stepdaughter joined the US AirForce in February 2006.   It's become a "family thang!"
